The Real Estate Law Group was founded in 2013 by attorney Leslie A. Margolies, a Pennsylvania real estate lawyer with more than 38 years of experience. From the start, the firm has been committed to modernizing real estate law with client-focused solutions.

Margolies has been a force for innovation throughout her career:

In the 1990s, she launched the first U.S. legal services organization dedicated to supporting families adopting internationally.
In 2013, she founded The Real Estate Law Group, the first Pennsylvania real estate law firm to offer flat-fee services for contract review, real estate disputes, and related legal matters.
In 2019, she created Landlord College, an online education platform that equips landlords and property managers with practical tools for lease structuring, risk management, and property law compliance.

Today, The Real Estate Law Group continues to evolve. The firm has joined a national network of estate planning attorneys founded by Ali Katz, author of Wear Clean Underwear. This collaboration emphasizes replacing outdated, one-size-fits-all services with personalized strategies for estate planning, trusts, and asset protection.
